Jeremiah 17:9-10
“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.”

Find information on Florida jails: Florida county jails as well as Florida Department of Corrections facilities, support from others in the same situation and tips to help smooth the process for family members and friends.

Having a loved one in jail constrains family members and friends almost as much as it does the individual who is incarcerated.

Many times, it is difficult to talk about the situation to those close to you as they simply cannot understand what you are going through.

That's when it helps to have some other form of support. That is where we hope to come in. Browse through our site and take what you like and leave the rest. That's what it's here for.

How to use this site: To find information on Florida county jails, use the menu to the left. As I find more information on each Florida county jail, it will be added. To find information on Florida Department of Corrections facilities, click on the FDOC link above the county links.

Check out our forums (Florida county jail message boards) by clicking on the Forum tab at the top of the page. You can view the forums without registration but if you choose to participate, you will have to register in the forum section. Registration is free. I manually approve all registrations in order to keep out the spammers. If you should recieve a rejection email in error, please contact me through the contact page.

Most articles I post on site, have a form at the bottom if you would like to leave a comment. Again, all comments are manually approved by me, due to spammers. If your comment doesn't show up immediately, that just means I haven't gotten to it yet.

If you have a suggetion for what you would like to see here on this site, please don't hesitate to use the link on the bottom right of the page and send it to me. I want this site to be as helpful as possible to all of you who are going through this troubling time.

God Bless each and every one of you.

As we we begin a brand new year in 2011, my thoughts are turned to the future. What will this year hold for myself and my loved one, and many others just like us, when he returns home?

Employment for him is first and foremost in my mind. While I am grateful that this journey for us is about to come to a new chapter, I know it is not the end of our obstacles.

I would like to put together a database of employers in the state of Florida, and whether or not they are Ex-Offender Friendly. I need your help.

If you can send any information, it would be greatly appreciated. I have a section on this site where I will post employers as I find them but I am not able to physically go to each one, to find out. If you have had a good experience or even a bad experience with a Florida employer and would like to help, please email me at the email below and include the employer's business name, city, contact person if you have that and what your experience was with them.

Let's get this information up where it can help others.

Thanks in advance and I'll be watching for your emails!

Wishing everyone the best in 2011, God Bless.
